Welcome to the Meadow Inn Hotel. In the heart of Fawkner, the Meadow Inn Hotel is an icon in Melbourne's northern suburbs, having been serving locals and visitors for years.
Our family friendly Bistro is the perfect place to gather with family and friends for an overdue catch up. Our chefs take inspiration from local suppliers and Victorian producers to offer you a selection of share plates, succulent steaks and all the classic pub meals you know and love.
If it's a drink you're after, look no further than our Sports Bar. It’s the perfect place to sip a brew and relax in one of our lounges, with sport broadcasting across a number of large TV screens so that you never miss a mark, a goal, a wicket or anything else. Choose one of our beers on tap, or take a look at our spirits, cider and wine list. For those after a quick bite, we have a refined menu available with pub classics that are suited perfectly to enjoying with mates.

  • Your room comes with complimentary wifi, the network name and password are located in your room or please ask at reception.

    Lunch: 12 pm - 3 pm daily

    Dinner: 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm daily "

    We also have a Dan Murphy's Bottle Shop onsite, open from 10 am - 8pm daily

  • Your room will be serviced daily. If you do not want your room serviced, please display the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign and our team will respect your privacy.

  • NOTICE

    LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO GUESTS’ PROPERTY UNDER the Innkeepers Act 1968, an innkeeper may in certain circumstances be liable to make good any loss of or damage to a guest’s property even though it was not due to any fault of the innkeeper or any servant in the innkeeper’s employ.

    This liability, however:

    (a) extends only to the property of guests who have engaged sleeping accommodation at the inn,

    (b) is limited to one hundred dollars to any one guest except in the case of property which has been deposited, or offered for deposit, for safe custody,

    (c) does not cover motor-vehicles or other vehicles of any kind or any property left in them, or horses or other live animals.

    This notice does not constitute an admission either that the Act applies to these premises or that liability thereunder attaches in any particular case.

  • Complimentary car parking is available to all guests. The Hotel does not accept liability for any loss or damage to cars and their contents.

  • Gowrie Train Station (Upfield Line) is the closest public transport option, a short 15 minute walk away, that will deliver your into Melbourne city (Flinder Street Station) in approx 31 minutes.

  • Reception is open from 10am to 9pm daily. Outside of these hours, please call the hotel on 9359 1666.

  • We have a strict no smoking or vaping policy in all of our guest rooms, any guests who smoke or vape in their room will be fined $500
